About the Dr. Comfort Shoe Stretchers

Using a shoe stretcher is a great way to widen a toe box of a shoe. This can help accommodate a variety of common foot issues patients may face, such as: bunions, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, corns, edema, and more. Typically, a shoe stretcher will be able to stretch about a width wider.
This is intended for use with genuine leather shoes, it will not work on materials such as Lycra®, neoprene, mesh, polyurethane, or most other man-made materials.
Includes 1 shoe stretcher and one bunion attachment.

Instruction For Use with Compression Stockings and Socks

  1. Insert the shoe stretcher into the shoes. If you are stretching for a bunion, attach it to the stretcher where needed, at this time.
  2. Turn the knob to begin stretching the shoe and keep turning it until you feel resistance.
  3. Leave the stretcher in at least overnight—and sometimes for as long as 24 to 48 hours.
  4. Remove the shoe stretcher.

Product Care

  • Sanitize between patients with sanitizing wipe or spray as needed.
